  • mini muffin tin (regular works too)
  • whisk

  • 1 Pkg Pillsbury Funfetti Cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 24 ice cream cones - flat bottom
  • 1 frosting - your choice


  • Heat oven to 350°F. Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Spoon a scant 3 tablespoons batter into each cone. (Do not overfill.) Stand cones upright in muffin cups.
  • Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool completely on wire rack or pop in freezer.
  • Place frosting on a spoon and swirl on to mimic ice cream OR in decorating bag fitted with medium star tip. Pipe a decorative swirl of frosting on top of each cupcake cone, beginning at outside edge and working up. Sprinkle with candy bits from frosting.
